A Delegate’s View of the One Young World Summit

Emer Rafferty’s talk will highlight her experience of the One Young World Summit held in Belfast when subjects such as the climate and ecological crisis will be discussed.

Emer Rafferty is a second year chemical engineering student at Queen’s University Belfast. She is the youngest director of EcoJustice Ireland and will be 1 of more than 2,000 delegates to attend the One Young World Summit in Belfast from 2 – 5 October. As an Education Authority delegate at the summit, Emer aims to address the climate and ecological crisis and is hopeful that it will lead to real change.
